Keystone ski area, Colorado

Do you like skiing or snowboarding? I like snowboarding. I started snowboarding since I moved to Akita prefecture, which is in the northern part in Japan. The skiing area is close to my house, so I went to snow mountains over 10 times per year. Besides Akita, Japan has many ski resorts, for instance, Hakuba in Nagano, Niseko in Hokkaido, and Zao in Yamagata. If you are interested in winter sports and Japan, these are my recommendations.

Let’s go back to America. Colorado is a state that has a bunch of ski resorts and super high quality and quantity snow. Vail, Keystone, Telluride, Arapahoe Basin are famous areas. Among these options, I chose Keystone. This is because the ski area is relatively closer to the Denver airport than other resorts and offers “night snowboarding,” which is the biggest reason I went there. Most of the others are closed at the evening. I didn’t have enough days in Colorado, so I tried to make the most of my time.

Ski courses are mostly for intermediate or advanced snowboarders. If you are just a beginner, this is maybe not the best choice, but if you are not a beginner and want a steep or challenging experience, it’d be a good choice. Needless to say, at Keystone, you can enjoy a vast terrain
