Hi, my name is Takuto. I am going to write about why I am in America and how I have been spending my time. After graduating from a Japanese university with a Master’s degree in Engineering, I joined a Japanese company, which sent me to this country to work for a year. I was a little nervous because this was the first time to live abroad, but fortunately many chances came to me which have helped me have fun with my friends that I have made in this place.
I realized that especially traveling was one of the best ways to enjoy American life. Maybe this is because I had never lived here. Of course, I have watched movies made in America or seen some books and news about the country, but I had never touched or seen it with my own eyes. There is a huge gap between seeing pictures, which is indirect, and going there, which is direct. In the last year, I went to New Orleans, Florida, Savannah, Nashville, Colorado, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, San Francisco and San Jose.I will share my experiences and hopefully it will bring readers here. I’m also interested in playing musical instruments and snowboarding by the way. My travels are sometimes related with these activities.
